HOMECOMING
I returned to the olive grove
with the old olive trees,
the fig trees and tha almond trees
and the cicadas singing endlessly.
suns and moons
are born and die
here-
in the thyme bushes
in the caper's blossoms
between the flying of the birds
Lots of son, sky and earth,
and a strip of sea
forever suspended
above the treetops.

Yet, I come and go
through a rotating door
which is neither entrancne nor exit.
